1408 glue
what is the best glue to use for bamboo flooring?
We are installing solid bamboo flooring onto concrete....home depot told us to use Roberts 1408 (the brand of floor also says to use this..however someone has told us that it is garbage
When used with the proper trowel it s a very good urethane based adhesive.
Don t spread to much at a time and don t let it tack over or it won t stick.(the bamboo)
A hint.. get 2 trowels and after 1 gets all gummed up, soak it in mineral spirits as you use the other. Clean any glue off of the bamboo with miner spirits as you go, don t let it dry on.
