3m 5200 marine adhesive
Can you recommend a marine adhesive?
I am screwing down a fitting that will hold the mainsheet on my 14' boat. (It is called a barney post). It will be held by no less than 8 SS screws. But it will take some stresses and I would like to secure it with an adhesive that will assure there is absolutely no movement. I don't want to use 3M 5200 because my experience is that you can never get removed without a chisel and a hammer! Can you recommend something that will be adhesive without the permanence of 3M 5200?
I use 5200 all the time and when removing use a razor knife and lift a corner and cut the 5200. U have to seal the SS from the aluminum or it will corrode.
