It is my Fentanyl / Duragesic patch is still good?

I recently was put on Fentanyl / Duragesic patch for pain of my chronic pancreatitis and are a godsend. continued assistance to the constant pain. I am using a 100 mcg patch every 72 hours. Yesterday I received a new patch, and unfortunately, as part of its activities the day was wet several times, and I removed. Has no more sticky tape to hold it. I know that the adhesive system is part of the assignment or transfer, so now I have a patch fentanyl completely dead? "I can use a bandaid to fix the corners of me and it will work? I know he can not cover it all on tape, because it must "breathe". I recently hit the Medicare "Donut Hole", so I'm basically paying for all my medication in my pocket, and babies are expensive. How can I get to "activate" again? Please, no answers from the sky-divers or drugs ... I do not need "Oh man ... boiling!" Patients or doctors only please! --- Thanks

Still good. Apply medical (surgery) and the band will be good. I did it for my patients. I used a rub alcohol on the skin, dry for a few seconds, place the patch on the edges with tape. If you do not get relief, then you may just have to shoot. Good luck.
