Toddle-proof apartment cabinets/drawers without screws? DIY?
Hi ~
We are in an apartment and cannot screw into the cabinets or drawers in our kitchen to childproof.
Do you know of any DIY ways to creatively latch the cabinet without having to purchase the expensive adhesive latches?
I've also heard that they damage the cabinet upon removal and we cannot risk damaging the property in order to get our deposit. Since we are going to be here temporarily, we did not want to do anything major, but were hoping that someone had some cool ideas for childproofing on your own.

umm...well i dont have kids yet....although my wife never stops talking about it....but my sister has 2 and i noticed that when they stay at my parents house my parents rapped a rubberband around 1 cabinet door to the other door....so they cant pull it open...thought it was a pretty good idea....
