Silicon bra enhancers are very durable and will not easily deteriorate. It is true that silicone bra enhancer can last for a very long time.  The claim that silicone breast enhancers could last for ages is not hype.  However, it is not sanitary to use your enhancer for ages without replacing it.  You have to remember that the outer layer of the enhancer is made from plastic.  When it touches your skin, sweat, dust, and your odor will adhere to the plastic surface.  So it is not surprising that your breast enhancer will emit a sweaty smell after months of using it everyday.  Aside from the smell, sweat can also promote bacterial growth.  So it is highly advisable to replace your breast enhancer after two years of active use.  This way, you will always have a bacteria-free silicone breast enhancer.
