Does spray adhesive ruin grip tape?

Im making stencil art on my skateboard and if I put spray adhesive on the stencil and then put it on the grip tape would it ruin the grip tape?

No, the spray adhesive will go on the stencil, not the grip tape. It's a light adhesive. It'd be like putting clear tape on the grip tape, it comes right off.
