Glue for a perspex bath?

I am making a 'bath' (basically a fish-tank) using 5mm thick clear perspex sheet. Dims are: 450mm x 350mm in plan and 300mm deep. I have used an acrylic glue which is quite strong (thin 'capillary'-type glue -no sealing effect tho'). I want to now add sealant to the internal edges. I would prefer to use a sealant that can provide some bonding too to add strength since I will be filling it with water.. What is it that they use to make glass fishtanks? If I recall its a kind of translucent white stuff that is quite hard? Or what would anyone suggest?
Thanks to all...(its not for fish!)...I used Araldyte i.e., 2-part epoxy resin which i mixed first then scooped into a syringe and that has been ideal.

You might want to check out something called aquarium glue. It's a type of silicone glue and filler, I think. Not sure where you'd get it, but probably at a pet supply store, or they could tell you.

There may be some 2 part epoxy glues that could be used too. Not sure which would be better for glass versus acrylic (plexiglass, etc.).
