Fine porcelain figurines that were glued to a mirror w/ epoxy many years ago - how do I dissolve or remove it?
Delicate porcelain figurines INSIDE A GLASS BOX (imagine working with your arms down inside a fish tank) epoxied to a mirror. Have tried dripping solvent around edges but it is slow going. Have tried acetone, methylene chloride and "goof-off". SOME of the epoxy has softened temporarily but I have to chip at the edges with a razor. Any suggestions as to how to liquify it once and for all without damaging the figurines? How about heat? Thanks! Chris
