How can i remove the oil sheen in my hair?

Okay so i put the oil sheen in my hair ( about almost half a bottle) to remove the hair extention glue and i been combing it out with a fine tip comb and the oil in my hair seems to Not be comming out now its slimy,pasty,greesy feel, what can i put on my hair to get this glue out and get out this pasty oily feeling in my hair? * i have warshed it over and over again, even used dawn but its not comming out!

* I have super short hair so please, somthing that wont ruin my hair in anyway*

I don't know what oil sheen is, but I imagine it is some kind of heavy oil. Yes, it will remove the glue in your hair. But then you need to "warsh" it. LOL

I would think that Dawn would work. It's a good grease cutter -- I use it when washing wool off the sheep. I would apply it straight on the hair. Be sure to work it around each hair, and let it sit for a couple minutes. You don't need to scrub the scalp! Using hot water will help as well. That should do it. You may need to add a bit of salt to the hair before as well -- it seems to cut the grease a bit.

Because it is such a heavy oil, you are going to have to cleanse your hair several times. I would think you should see some improvement after a time or two. I would think that half a bottle is WAY too much to use... all you need is a drop at each place there was glue. A little goes a long way!!

Can you imagine what happens when people use coconut oil in their hair??!?? Yuck!
