How do I get the adhesive off my wall??!?

I have a dry erase board that I want to take down, but the adhesive sticky will not come off my wall. Is anyone able to help me solve this problem?! I want the sticky residue off my wall. Please help!

goo gone is a good alternative home depot and lowes carry it. you can also take warm soapy water to it and get a razor blade and gently scrape away the goo make sure you don't cut into the paint. you can use a thinner too but nothing too harsh like paint thinner, you can use WD40
