Five crafts crafts for dried flowers

It can be difficult to throw a vase of cut flowers. I'm sure I'm not the only beneficiary of them so little that I can not bear to have special treatment. I guess that's why it upside down to dry in my garage. Of course, after awhile, you start to look like a garden strange and morbid became the ceiling. But there are many smart ways to use your dried flowers to complement your home or transmitting the gift another soul who deserves (although for some applications, you can press the flowers instead of hanging to dry).

1. Cardboard. You've probably seen these cards incredibly high price of handmade paper with leaves and flower petals in the mesh. If you do not want to go to the trouble of making your own paper (although, again, is possible), you can always make a unique look for your account. Just a little paper of anxiety pre-made or cardboard (rubbed with coffee stains sandbags region, and a wrinkle bit) then rub a little sticky glue and gently press the petals. You can even sew the edges with a little gold thread a look expensive at low cost.

2. Envelopes. Instead of buying these bags handy to keep your underwear drawer deliciously scented, get a bag permeable air (or one of linen, lace, or a tight mesh, and means), complete with petals, and tie with a pretty ribbon. Voila! potpourri moment. And you can always make a fancier version of gifts.

3. Cutting. If you do not know what to do with that old coffee table that was Never in his house (you know, a colorful top), consider giving it a makeover floral. Go to your local craft store and pick up some glue cutting a roll (which is a smoothing tool is like a roll, but if you want one, go for popsicle sticks in place) and sponge or brush. From there, all you have to do is paint a layer of glue on the surface, place the petals in any style or arrangement you choose, and seal with one or more layers of glue that can soften and flatten with a rolling pin (the end result should be good enough, but you may need to lightly sand).

4. Wall art. the old-timey hand-drawn flowers torn from the pages of the flora and wildlife guides have recently appeared in stores everywhere in the form of modern art, framed by her dresser. So make your own flowers wild small press, sticking to a yellow card, and write his name in Latin on writing. Then throw in an old frame found in a garage sale to give them that old and love to see that (lower).

5. Hats. If you are one of the many women who appreciate a good introduction, then all at the top with dried flowers. Probably the best drying method is the use of glycerin (which leaves little flowers malleable and lasts longer than other methods.) Simply immersed in a solution of two parts warm water for a part antifreeze (glycerol or other) for two or three weeks before hanging to dry. Once completely dry, just put your hat with pins or ribbons. It will not last forever, and you want to avoid the rain, but can make a good addition to your favorite summer hat.

What do you think of this poem I wrote?

I feel isolated, like a flower born of new content and boredom in a room Hospital and the petals fall from the stalks, slowly lean on emotional health thinking of hitting the town or through my old books old and new "These lies are sprayed perfume and ..." I try to clean my badge I hope my legs quickly arises because I can walk again kind of limping on the windowsill, I'm calling your name, leaving trails of hope after so many unnecessary trivial "All the bones fit nicely into the framework of" picking the petals of the moon
