Gluing polished sea shells and rocks to leather?

Ok, so I want to embellish some leather flipflops, and bought some polished sea shell beads, and some tumbled jasper chips to do so. But I'm not sure what adhesive to use, and when I tried to use the This To That site http://www.thistothat.com/index.shtml , it did not offer shells as a choice. So any clue whether shells and rocks are more similar in adhesive properties to plastic, glass, or ceramic so I can use that website? Or any suggestions? I'm currently leaning towards using Household Goop.

go to a good hardware store and get ''guerrilla glue''..i am a craftsman and i use it quite a bit...it also doesnt come off when wet...make sure you follow directions...a little does go a long way...it will adhere to almost anything..
