What is the way of egg drop by using a raw chicken egg,foam,cardboard,newspaper, cellotape,glue,scissor,asturo?
Glue/tape the egg to the inside top of the box.
place extra cardboard along the sides to strengthen them.
place "weight" in bottom of box in order that the box doesn't turn over when dropped.
When you are finished there should be nothing below the egg except the tape which is holding it...air beneath that.
When the box hits the ground...it will collapse. If the sides are somewhat stable, they will absorb the shock.''
I theorize that foam, or crumbled newspaper around the egg will transfer the shock to the egg. The idea is that the air inside the foam and egg will be enough to absorb the shock.
Another idea is...if the box is a cube....to suspend the egg in the middle of the box by lengths of tape from all 8 corners.
Good luck...I'd like to know what works.
