My standing lamp is in metal sections and it is leaning severely because the grid attaching two sections isn't working. I thought I'd put some kind of pole inside them to steady the majority of the weight, and then try to glue the two sections together. Like any standing lamp, the wire goes through the hollow center of the sections so the glue needs to be safe for that reason. I don't know much about this obviously.
