Different School Activities that Enhances Children’s Creative Inputs and Promote Learning

In a school set-up, there will always be an art class available. During actual art class sessions, revolving around a wide variety of activities help instead of repeated projects and concepts.

To build creativity in students means to provide concepts for them to build in art form. Here are some activities that can further strengthen, enhance, and develop the creative side for these young students.

1. Framing Contests: By printing postcards in UPrinting, you can ask students to find different ways to frame the photo card. With different colorful materials provided, have students match and stick the items around the photo for framing. For more a more organized activity, you can provide specific items for building the frames.
2. Recycling activities: With a few scraps, old erasers, clay, newspaper, and other materials, you can have students come up with a collage and 3D representation of any scenery, object, or person. This activity can also encourage recycling materials in a fun way.
3. Photographs Outputs: By providing different canvas prints in small sizes, you can have simple pictures as subjects like a flower vase, window, rabbit, bottle, and other single-themed designs. With the prints, provide students with different beads, yarn, glue, and scissors and instruct to decorate and enhance the photo printed on canvas.

With art activities, to provide materials and concepts that can be done independently helps flex creativity in students. This gives children a sense of accomplishment and provides the freedom to make decisions on creating colorful art concepts.

What is a good glue to use for doing collages?

I'm an artist that makes collages and paintings. I usually paint some of the picture and do the rest in collage. My question is, what is a good glue or paste to use to stick the paper (usually magazine clippings) to the canvas with out wrinkling the paper or the possibility of peeling up? I have been using rubber cement for some time but have found that in a short time, it inevitably will peel off. Any suggestions?

I agree, Mod Podge. Elmer's works too and you can water it down a tad. Both dry clear. I have a little roller that I run over the piece so it doesn't get air bubbles.
