How to REMOVE rc tires from wheel when glued?
I have worn the tires on my Nitro truck RC and would like to put new ones on the wheels. Problem is that the where glued at the factory. How can i remove the tire from the wheels? Or else i would have to buy new wheels and tires. This is for a remote control car. Not a real car. thanx.
A common question I hear, is how do you separate the tires from the rims once you glued them? There are a couple of methods to do this, but I'm going to focus on boiling the tires and rims. I've performed this on a few occasions, and it is perfectly safe for both the rim and the tire. So no matter which you are trying to reuse, you should be fine. However it should be noted that the chrome finish on some wheels may be dulled or removed by this procedure.
