Stuck In A sexless Marriage Rut – Is Stress A Real Passion Killer?
If you are stuck in a sexless marriage rut then it can be a very difficult time. You may well be experiencing a whole myriad of emotions, from disappointment to confusion leading all the way up to anger and resentment. A healthy sexual relationship is the glue that holds a relationship together so without intimacy it may seem that your marriage is falling apart. Obviously forcing your partner to be intimate is not an option so what can you do to get your marriage back on track?
Firstly to dispel a myth; it is not necessarily true that your partner's lack of libido means that they do not find you attractive anymore or that they have found someone else. What is probably more the case (if you have ruled out any medical problems) is that there are underlying factors that are causing a loss of sexual appetite. This lack of libido has nothing to do with the act of sex itself. The trick is to find the source of the problem and resolve the issue.
One of the main causes, if not the main cause, of loss of libido, is stress. This may be down to work commitments, money worries or a whole host of other things. So if your partner or spouse is stressed then this can indeed manifest itself into a lack of intimacy with you. If you suspect that this is the case, then there are things that you can do to ease that stress and alleviate the problem.
You do not want to force your partner into talking about the problem as this will only succeed into driving them further away from you, but what you do need to do is create an atmosphere whereby they feel comfortable about talking and can open up to you. You can do this by telling them that you are here for them if and when they need to talk. When they are ready to talk or feel the need to vent, just listen and lend your support. Act as a sounding board and absorb what they are telling you with empathy.
Another way to get your partner to open up is to relax them physically. For example run them a bath or offer a massage. Massages are great at relaxing people without anything sexual being involved. Try using some candles and some soft music to set the scene. Also use some nice oil to put them at ease. Once your partner is at ease and relaxed you may find that it is easier for them to open up and talk to you about their problems.
You see it's all about creating an environment where your partner feels relaxed and comfortable about sharing their problems and issues. This not only sends a clear message to your partner that you care deeply about your marriage, but will also create a very strong bond between you that may have been missing before. Once this bond is in place then intimacy will naturally follow.
Being stuck in a sexless marriage rut doesn't have to end in divorce. There are things that you can put in place today that can stop this from happening. So if you really want your marriage to work and are prepared to do whatever you can, then you need to visit www.marriagefixer.info for more essential sexless marriage advice that you really cannot afford to miss.

What type of hairstyles can you get with glue in tracks(im black my natural hair is short and breaking)?
i prefer sew in tracks but they wont be able to braid it so I have to get them glued in. I usually get a bob when I get tracks in but is there anything else.
You can do almost anything granted - the hair is human and can with stand the heat of curling irons or straigtheners; that it is done well enough that if you were to try an up do that your own hair wont show or contrast on the pieces; that you dont get it tangled by rubbing it when you wash it; and that you dont get it oily by adding products to it.

Earthquake Glue $10.38 For those who love the idea of Guided By Voices a bit more than the reality, it's sometimes hard not to be frustrated with Robert Pollard, a scattershot genius who is equally well-defined by both halves of that description. GBV leader Pollard is a startlingly gifted and prolific songwriter and musician, but he also displays either an inability or a disinterest in separating his wheat from his chaff, as anyone who has tried to plow through his relentless barrage of side projects has doubtless noticed. Which is why Earthquake Glue is such a pleasant surprise -- it may well be the most consistent and satisfying Guided By Voices album to date, and if its potent rock crunch is bettered by 2001's superb Isolation Drills, this comes close enough to make any fan pummel his air guitar with glee. While the sharper focus and tight set list of Earthquake Glue is impressive, just as important is how good Guided By Voices sounds as a band these days; while usually regarded as little more than Pollard's backing group, this edition of GBV has become tight, emphatic, and joyously powerful after several years on the road and in the studio, with the guitars of Doug Gillard and Nate Farley and the rhythm section of Tim Tobias and Kevin March giving the tunes all the smarts and twice the muscle their creator could have hoped for. And while Earthquake Glue lacks the clunky lo-fi ambience of Bee Thousand or Alien Lanes, these songs suggest Pollard and his collaborators have been able to take the spontaneity and adventure of those tracks and graft them into a better structured and more satisfying framework. If Earthquake Glue isn't a masterpiece, it's as close as this band can be expected to get, and is the rare Guided By Voices effort that's imaginative enough for longtime loyalists and tight enough for dabblers at the same time. ~ Mark Deming, Rovi Performers: Todd Tobias - Noise, Keyboards |

Glue Works $14.38 Cuneiform has another winner with Gösta Berlings Saga -- the Swedish quartet of keyboardist David Lundberg, guitarist Mathias Danielsson, bassist Gabriel Hermansson, and drummer Alexander Skepp -- who released Glue Works, their debut for the veteran avant label, in 2011. The music of Gösta Berlings Saga (named after a Swedish neo-romantic novel published in 1891) should satisfy fans of avant-prog, electronica, post-minimalism, and post-rock alike -- in short, the band is completely in sync with the Cuneiform mindset. Glue Works is dominated by two nearly 13-minute tracks, the first of which, “Island,” begins with a subtle and understated chamber quartet-style arrangement of overdubbed cellos, with sensitive pizzicato and arco playing courtesy of guest Cecilia Linné. That calm introduction, also featuring eerie musical saw, is deceptive, however, as the group is soon smashing and bashing its way through an extended -- even relentless -- jam that builds and builds, layering in jagged riffs, roaring chords, swooping synths, sparkling glockenpiel-like accents and more over a 13/8 rhythm until it all dissolves into background Mellotron chords, harsh noise interjections, and a blurpy looping synth sequence. And then the bandmembers presumably began applying spackle to the new cracks in the walls of their Stockholm studio. Album-closing epic “Sorterargatan 1” (reprised from 2009’s Detta Har Hänt) has an almost reverse dynamic: although slower paced overall, the first half is nevertheless agitated and layered with the band’s full instrumental arsenal; during the second half a lovely theme builds upon a foundation of Lundberg’s stately Fender Rhodes while always keeping beauty and lyricism to the fore -- thanks in large part to the reappearance of cellist Linné -- despite the unsettled underpinnings lurking beneath. Among the album’s shorter pieces, “Icosahedron” is particularly notable for its delicate and mysterious conclusion, with glockenspiel voicings and off-minor keyboard arpeggios suggesting that the legacy of fellow Swede Lars Hollmer is not forgotten by Gösta Berlings Saga. On “Gliese 58lg,” a subtly overdriven Rhodes is augmented by clean and bright keyboards and ghostly overlays of sustained guitar tones and windswept chorales, only to be interrupted by electro beats and the dirtiest, most jagged guitar chords imaginable, just in case the first part of the song was inducing too many floating -- and dark -- reveries. With its steady, clubby midtempo rhythm and retro electronic treatments, “Waves” sounds like an instrumental experiment that landed on Roxy Music’s cutting-room floor circa Stranded -- only to show up later on a Phil Manzanera solo album -- while the following “Geosignal,” also brief at less than two and a half minutes, strives for a more orchestral sound (complete with real brass) over its deep and dirgey electronic pulse. Gösta Berlings Saga deserve plaudits for this musical mélange drawing from avant rock's exploratory pa |

Everything [Bonus Tracks] $14.99 Listeners who can't stomach a high intake of sugar should stay away from Climie Fisher's 1988 debut album, Everything. Swaying between bubblegum and synth pop, Everything is a slick, overwhelmingly sweet record. Rod Stewart's blue-eyed soul reverberates in the raspy croon of vocalist Simon Climie, and the ghosts of '80s club staples such as Scritti Politti and Naked Eyes haunt the band's upbeat, funky rhythms. The U.S. hit single "Love Changes (Everything)" is saccharine enough to have been an Archies song; nevertheless, in limited doses it's as tasty as a chocolate sundae. But be forewarned: "Love Changes (Everything)" has a chorus that adheres to the brain like glue. Lovely acoustic riffs and uplifting lyrics cast an afternoon glow on "Rise to the Occasion." It, like the other tracks on Everything, is innocuous fluff that is too well-crafted to dismiss. Fans of keyboardist Rob Fisher's previous group Naked Eyes might be disappointed by Climie Fisher's weaker material; however, comparing the two bands is unfair. They leans close to the mainstream than Naked Eyes ever did. On tracks such as "I Won't Bleed for You," "Precious Moments," and "Never Let a Chance Go By," Climie Fisher fulfill their modest ambitions of producing catchy, unpretentious pop music. But too much of Everything can cause cavities, since they don't stray from their confectionery-laced formula. ~ Michael Sutton |

Budapest Live [Bonus Tracks] $38.39 Manfred Mann's Earth Band had no shortage of albums to their credit across the 1970s and 1980s, though how many of them made it into the hands of American listeners is questionable -- you'd have thought a live album would have been forthcoming sometime fairly soon after they scored their chart-topping hit with "Blinded by the Light," but that wasn't the case. This concert album, recorded rather later on, live in Budapest on April 6 and 7, 1983, in the city's Sportshalle, was much more easily available in Europe than in the U.S.A. By that date, the band was a five-piece consisting of Manfred Mann on keyboards and synthesizer, John Lingwood on drums, Chris Thompson on vocals and guitar, Steve Waller on vocals and guitar, and Matt Irving on bass. They were a first-rate band in their way, and exciting enough, but early in this set they seem to lack a lot of the subtleties that made the early-'70s version of the band interesting to listen to. What they were here -- at least on the first side of the original LP -- was loud. They opened with "Spirits in the Night" in a full arena-scale high-energy workout, with two guitars hard at work. The rest is similarly proportioned, until you get to "Blinded by the Light" on side two, which in all of its details and nuances recalls the balance of the early Manfred Mann's Earth Band, with plenty of room for all of the players. And from there on, the concert -- even encompassing acoustic guitars on "Redemption Song (No Kwazulu)" -- is what one would hope for from this band. The original LP ended with a thundering rendition of "Mighty Quinn," which is still a powerful listening experience in the hands of anyone associated with Manfred Mann (who, for his part, provides an extremely animated organ part, able to hold its own between the two guitarists). The original LP release -- which has since been expanded and vastly improved for CD -- finishes stronger than it starts, and is filled with surprises along the way, but isn't nearly as essential listening as any of the group's first half-dozen or so albums. [The 2005 Japanese reissue of this 1984 LP release comes with killer sound and three superb bonus tracks: "Runner," "No Transkei," and "Don't Kill It Carol." The first is a superior showcase for the contrasting styles of guitarists Chris Thompson and Steve Waller, while Manfred Mann's keyboards provide the glue between them, and even leave some room for some surprising vocal acrobatics; the second is a venture into what is now called world music, courtesy of Mann's songwriting and his South African roots, and some beautifully subtle playing by all concerned; and the last is a straight-ahead rocker that recalls the early-'70s Earth Band, all crunching guitars and surging organ -- and a cool solo by Mann on synthesizer -- and lots of fun, even as it carries a serious message. This is the way in which to take in this album, the bonus tracks showcasing compelling sides of the band's work that aren't emphasized quite enoug |

Ramones [Bonus Tracks] $25.49 With the three-chord assault of "Blitzkrieg Bop," The Ramones begins at a blinding speed and never once over the course of its 14 songs does it let up. The Ramones is all about speed, hooks, stupidity, and simplicity. The songs are imaginative reductions of early rock & roll, girl group pop, and surf rock. Not only is the music boiled down to its essentials, but the Ramones offer a twisted, comical take on pop culture with their lyrics, whether it's the horror schlock of "I Don't Wanna Go Down to the Basement," the drug deals of "53rd and 3rd," the gleeful violence of "Beat on the Brat," or the maniacal stupidity of "Now I Wanna Sniff Some Glue." And the cover of Chris Montez's "Let's Dance" isn't a throwaway -- with its single-minded beat and lyrics, it encapsulates everything the group loves about pre-Beatles rock & roll. They don't alter the structure, or the intent, of the song, they simply make it louder and faster. And that's the key to all of the Ramones' music -- it's simple rock & roll, played simply, loud, and very, very fast. None of the songs clock in at any longer than two and half minutes, and most are considerably shorter. In comparison to some of the music the album inspired, The Ramones sounds a little tame -- it's a little too clean, and compared to their insanely fast live albums, it even sounds a little slow -- but there's no denying that it still sounds brilliantly fresh and intoxicatingly fun. [A Japanese version included bonus tracks.] ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine, Rovi |

By the Grace of God [Bonus Tracks] $11.18 Easily their best and most consistent work to date, By the Grace of God, from Sweden's garage rock stalwarts the Hellacopters is a flawless collection of anthemic, soulful rock songs from start to finish. Picking up where 2001's High Visibility left off, By the Grace of God continues to show singer/guitarist Nicke Andersson's transformation from a mere garage punk with a great sense of melody into one hell of a songwriter. In fact, the group as a whole has grown tighter as a unit and loosened up in the process, which ultimately has made them more confident musicians. The lightening-fast and fluid fret work of Robert "Strings" Dahlqvist recalls the soul and attack of Ted Nugent in his prime, playing every note and riff like it was his last. Drummer Robert Eriksson plays his kit with machine gun precision, and bass man Kenny Håkansson lays down perfect melodic grooves that hold each song together like super glue, while keyboardist Anders "Bobba Fett" Lindström's piano and organ work is the icing on the cake. The impeccable production, courtesy of Chips Kiesbye (High Visibility), is a big part of what makes this record work so well. With its big guitars and widescreen sound By the Grace of God would equally please fans of classic-'70s arena rock as it would fans of their earlier, rawer, Detroit-influenced material. Such tracks as "Carry Me Home," "Rainy Day Revisited," and "Go Easy Now" are infectious and edgy enough that they wouldn't be out of place on a trendy alternative rock station wedged between a Foo Fighters song and a Vines song. The 13 tracks off By the Grace of God are also soulful and timeless enough that they could be heard following tunes by rock legends such as Thin Lizzy or Cheap Trick on any classic rock station. Not to say Stockholm's finest have lost their edge; on the contrary, they've only sharpened and refined it. The title track "By the Grace of God" instantly goes for the throat, as does "It's Good but It Just Ain't Right" in classic Hellacopters fashion. While other bands of their ilk continue to release virtually the same record year after year, the Hellacopters have grown with each subsequent release, maturing into a great rock band transcending scenes and fads. The Hellacopters have truly outdone themselves on By the Grace of God and proven that the term "classic rock" doesn't only apply to bands of days gone by, and gives hope to those who still love great rock & roll. [This version of the album includes bonus material.] ~ Rick Kutner, Rovi Performers: L.G. Petrov - Vocals (Background); Michael Ilbert - Conga; Nicke Andersson - Vocals (Background), Guitar (Rhythm), Vocals, Piano, Percussion, Guitar; |
