Scrapbooking is one among the hobbies which has brought the entire United States in frenzy. From mere putting the ribbons and cutting of pictures, the scrapbooking craze has gone to cover more sophisticated depth.

3. Cutting boards and cutters

At times a cutter is required so that things are done at ease. A few cuttings are not possible with scissors. When you use a cutter, you would require a cutting board below so that the papers underneath are safe. A cutting board would ensure that your table gets no cut lines on its surface. Furthermore, a cutting board would guide to gut the paper straight in the line saving time with sketching work and ruler. When precise cutting of paper is needed, especially when the lengths are mentioned, cutting boards would be handy as they have measurements on them.

4. Sticky Stuff

This encompasses the fundamentals in the hobby of scrapbooking. People often use the glue gun when decorative items are bulky, such as the gemstones or the buttons. If you are dealing with papers, you could make use or regular paste and glue. In such cases, glue gun would give the paper a wrinkled and bulky look.

Stop hurting myself?

Let me put it bluntly. I hate my life.

I could take a few pages to describe all the problems I am having but I won't bore you with describing them, but all the problems are just too hard to deal with, so I have started cutting and burning to get my mind off of the pain of life. I have discovered that super glue and super glue accelerator when combined get really hot and cause 2nd degree burns and I have three burns and a 1" long surface deep cut from the last two days alone. I know this isn't good for my body but I just don't know how to stop. I don't want counseling because I know that won't work and I don't want to be humiliated by the fact that I am going to sessions. I also want to stop because I am considered a role model by many at my school (I have been accelerated twice and am a 14 year old junior in high school). Nobody knows about this yet other than me. My parents saw one of the burns on my hand but I lied and said it was from a heat gun I use for my hobby.

HELP!!!!

Sometimes life hits you hard and theres no real easy way to accept it. I can tell you know what your doing is wrong because your asking for help, but remember its up to you to stop.

Strength training, music, and drawing/painting are all things that have helped me when Im in bad situations. My suggestion is to find a hobby like those to relax you and/or help relieve the stress.

I dont know how old you are but if you have your license and a car you could always drive to a remote area and just blast music. That helps me a lot.

They key point here is to find something that can do the same effect without hurting yourself. Hurting yourself will only hurt you more in the long run. Never say you cannot stop. You have control of your body and actions you may not want to stop but you definitely have the ability to stop. Constantly tell yourself that.
