Is there a quick fix for a cracked ceramic teapot?

I have a cheap ceramic teapot that I use daily but it developed a crack about a quarter of the way up from the bottom and a few inches long. The pot is still usable, it just leaks water while its heating. I am going to replace it, but I need it to last a bit longer maybe a month tops.
Is there a safe, quick, temporary fix for this? I have various glues and some epoxies but I imagine the hot water will either melt the glue or poison the water.. any suggestions?

Maybe have the local middle school re-glaze it in their kiln? The shop teacher there should know whether or not that's a good idea (note should doesn't always mean would).
