Use a small amount of cement and a water resistant adhesive.  Blend in the correct by brushing.  If the floors mats are rubber wash them otherwise vacuum them.  Interior Surface Detailing : The inner surfaces should be cleaned with a wet cloth and mild all-purpose cleaner.  Use the correct chemical for the material you are working with.  You can buy vinyl and leather correct kits at your local vehicle store that may help you fix damage in the vinyl or leather.

The dash can prove to be extraordinarily difficult and will take some time.  You can try stuff like compressed air, q-tips and toothbrushes.  Watch out with the cleaning products you use on your dash that you do not put a glossy product on a level surface.  Do not get the cleaners on the plastic that covers the instrument panel as it may cause the panel to mist up.  Air vents can be cleaned with q-tips as well as compressed air.  Window Detailing : The windows should be cleaned last in order to not get dirt from within the automobile onto them.

First roll down the window barely and clean the higher part of the windows and then roll it back up to complete the lower part.  If you have polishes of any sort on the door panels take caution when you get close to the panels.  Outside the Car : now that the inside your car is detailed and clean it's time to start working on the outside.  Always begin at the bottom and work your way up.  Once you have washed the car, rinse and look for any areas which require rewashing.

Interior car roof liner repair help needed!?

I have a 1994 Saturn. The roof liner fabric (looks like some sort of microfiber?) is separating from the foam on the interior roof. I have tried a regular spray on adhesive, but it didn't work. Please help. Thanks!

Adding to Gary Gearfreak's instructions:

Make sure you completely remove the old fabric liner and the any adhesive remaining on the headliner. Use a bristle brush to rub off all the old adhesive and vaccuum well. Any old adhesive will prevent a good attachment to your new layer of adhesive.

You also can try spraying the new adhesive in 2 coats - one in the long direction and second in the short direction - to get full coverage. Then lay the new fabric over the headliner from the center and roll it out towards the corners. Smooth all the wrinkles and trim the edges. Leave a 1-2 inches overhang on the front windshield side, spray adhesive on it and tuck it over to get a nice edge for the front.

Cut any openings for dome lights, etc and install the reverse of the removal.
