Looking for glue that will stick to rubber flip flop?

for some reason, the Magna-Tac 809 doesn't work on rubber flip flop when I try to glue a trim. Anyone knows what craft glue I could use? How about some kind of epoxy glue? thanks

Gorilla glue, all you do is get the surface you want to glue the trim to just a little damp, put the glue on, then glue your trim down. Let it set for about 3 hours and there ya go.
