Features/ Strengths:

• The Fasback 8x tape binding machine is incredibly simple to operate. In fact, it only has three buttons. One button controls the settings, one button is used for editing documents and the third button is used to activate the machine. Users can even save their settings so that it is possible to bind documents with the simple press of one button.
• Buying supplies for this machine is extremely easy. Just two sizes of strips allow you to bind documents from a few pages up to an inch thick. This cuts down on the inventory of supplies that you will need to carry for your binding machine. Gone are the days of having to buy ten or twelve sizes of spines to bind your documents.
• The Fastback 8x is an extremely versatile machine. It provides users with the ability to create tape bound soft cover documents and hardbound reports on one machine. Limitations/ Weaknesses:

• The Fastback 8x cannot be used to bind large or thick documents. It is limited to documents with a binding edge that is less than 12" with less than 250 sheets of paper. Organizations that need to handle larger documents may want to consider the 15xs which can bind longer and larger documents.
• Unfortunately, the Fastback 8x is not very edit-friendly. Adding or removing multiple pages after the document is bound can be difficult. It works out ok for users who need to add or remove one or two pages from their books.
• The machine is excellent for binding most standard paper stocks. However, it does have problems adhering to some thick and glossy paper stocks. Furthermore, full bleed full coverage printed documents sometimes may have melting issues due to the high temperatures needed to bind.

Construction:

• The Fastback 8x is made primarily from plastic and is both stylish and contemporary.
• It measures 13" X 19.5" and has a metal document slot and durable metal internal components.

Recommendation:

• The Fastback 8x is great for a small office or home office that needs to bind up to 50 documents per week.
• It is easy to use, stylish, compact and helps to provide a contemporary and professional look for your documents and reports.
• This makes this machine a great choice for departments that are responsible for binding their own documents.
• However, organizations that need to bind documents that are thicker than 250 sheets, longer than twelve inches or who want a greater selection of supplies may want to look at the fastback 15xs.

My 15 month old daughter keeps chewing her play-pen to pieces!?

My daughter loves chewing and knawing at her play pen that we occasionally have to put her in but she is chewing at it more and more and now there are large holes in the fabric. Although she does not eat the bits of fabric she throws it on the floor and now that she has chewed so much of it the metal underneath is exposed which could be dangerous. I have been trying ways to cover the edges where she has been chewing like putting strong plastic tubing over it (like a hose pipe split down the middle) but she manages to take it off even if its tied down. Does anyone have any ideas what I can use as some kind of protector to put over it? Would a strong adhesive tape work? Obviously I cannot use anything that is toxic or can cause harm when she chews it. Suggestions would be most welcome! Thanks

Honestly you should throw it away, now that she has ripped holes in it with the metal exposed and has fabric in her mouth is very dangerous. My daughter does the same thing in her crib so we bought gummie rails, you can buy them at Target, Walmart, etc.
