Do glueless patch kits work as good as the ones with glue?
Went to my LBS to get a patch kit and all they had were those glueless ones that you just stick on. Do those things work as good as the old tried and true glue patches? I don't trust them. They seem flimsy.
(Remember the old Monkey Grip patch kits?)
Been using the Park patches for years without a hitch. They do eventually dry up and fail, but after more than 5 years I didn't complain. Trick is to clean and prep the tire as normal.
