Are the mouse glue traps inhumane?

The glue traps kill mice by trapping them with a sticky substance from which they cannot escape until they die after prolonged struggling to free themselves. Shouldn't this be considered "Cruelty to Animals" and the traps banned and the manufacturers prosecuted under the animal welfare laws?

YES and I really wish they would ban those in the stores. IMO its the most inhumane thing on the market. I've personally seen a LIVE mouse that was on the glue traps (at work) and almost threw up. The poor thing was trying to pull its little feet off.

I know many people don't like mice, but this is still a very inhumane method of killing mice. I'd rather a mouse be quickly killed from D-con or snap trap then to suffer on a glue trap.
