Floor is a bit unlevel for new sheet vinyl. Will I feel the flaws underfoot? Best way to level first?

I tore up the old carpet in my basement, and the tiles that were glued under that. The floor had some uneven areas so I bought some spackle like floor leveler and hit those areas.
When I laid the sheet vinyl down, and trimmed it (10x12 foot basement area) I noticed you could still feel a few bumps underfoot.
1. Should I level further, or will the vinyl be fine as is?
2. Should I lay glue or tape the edges (I'm worried about stretching due to basement temp. changes)
3. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated... I am by no means an expert at this (first home)

Ken is right. You will both feel and see any imperfections in a cement slab when doing a vinyl over it. It will telescope though in a matter of days.
You ask about glue or taping the edges. This will depend on what type of vinyl you have. There are a few types that you can do this to , but most vinyls are a full spread glue.
Your better off either to feather finish all the areas you did to make it a smooth floor or use 3/4 bags of self leveling compound to do the whole floor and make it perfectly smooth.Then wait a few days to allow floor to dry thoroughly and then apply glue, either full spread or a 3 " band ,depending on what type of vinyl you have.
