I am wondering how the bottom of my vapor barrier in my bathroom remodel will link back to the tub. I am a bit worried that if I adhere it to the tub 'lip' that it will show through when it's all finished. Does the silicone cover that up?
What adhesives do you use, and how far over the tub lip do you put the vapor barrier (I am using 4 mil plastic sheeting)?

Also - do you push the tub back so it's setting directly flush against the studs, or do you leave a small gap?
