Which adhesives are either polymer or water based?

I am trying to glue floppy disks and canvas together, and I was advised to use either a water or polymer based adhesive.

Alternatively, what adhesive do you suggest I use?

Most non-superglue adhesives are polymer-based.

I'd suggest you buy a few different glues and try them out - ones with solvents in them (like superglue or polystyrene cement) might "melt" the floppies. Maybe hot-glue?
