Vacuum Container Seal Capability Testing Instruments

Vacuum containers are more popular nowadays in household applications. Vacuum containers can keep freshness and avoid taint of odor. Therefore, how to assure the seal capability of vacuum container is very important for household manufacturers. The testing methods are as follows:

1. Underwater Decompression Method:

Labthink PARAM MFY-01 Leak Tester is on underwater decompression method according to GB/T 15171-94 Test Method for Leaks in Sealed Flexible Packages. Put a certain amount of distilled water into the vacuum chamber, and put the sealed vacuum container into the distilled water completely. Then, set the testing pressure and testing time. Usually, the vacuum degrees are 20, 30, 50 and 90 kPa, etc. Start testing. When the leak tester has reached a certain vacuum degree, stop vacuumizing and observe. The inner-out pressure difference of the specimen will cause inferior quality specimen leak so as to test leakage.

2. Pressured Testing Method

Labthink PARAM LSSD-01 Leak and Seal Strength Detector is of pressured testing method. Imposing high pressure gas into the vacuum container and test the pressure resistance, sealing degree and leak indexes so as to test integration and seal performance of the vacuum container.

Air Powered Machine Paint Gun?

I am very interested in creating a mechanized paint ball gun will a rotating shaft that shoots paintballs at higher velocities. Looking at a couple of videos on the mechanisms of the first gatling guns, it is possible that the pressure from the air tank can continuously spin the shaft as the paint balls fall in from their catridge and are fired. I am hoping that the material is made out of thick PVC piping so that it is light, but could withstand the air pressure. Though the components needs to be sealed tight with a very strong adhesive. Possible there probably some metal components. So, what do you guys think?

Do you mean shoots at high velocity or at higher frequencies.

This will increase frequency, but I don't think it will work. I don't know how paintball guns work, and I don't want to doubt you, but there is a presice loading mechanism inside those guns. It's not like a traditional bullet.

You can't apply constant pressure inside one of the five barrels and expect it to withstand over 3000 psi.

This isn't something that can be retrofitted, you must re-design the gun.
