removing glue under carpet

hardwood floor with glue on it?

removed carpet and found hardwood floor under it but the carpet was GLUED to the floor and i have tried everything to remove it does anyone know how to remove the glue??
i have tried everything chemicals and sanders included. the chemicals are slow and the sand paper gets clogged up as soon as i start sanding. and i plan on refinishing the floor but i need the glue off first. any suggestions besides the hot sauce?????

You could use chemicals (goo off and alike) to remove the glue but you would be leaving the door open for moisture to ruin the flooring if not used correctly, especially if you intend to have this as you floor surface, Or you could use a sander because sanding machine are not easy to use and if you don't have experience I wouldn't go there, I had a friend of mine try to use one on a floor he laid and he cut into the floor leaving bad marks all over it. http://www.hardwood-floor-sanders.com/
