Medical Procedure, which is better Stitches or Glue?
My daughter got a cut on her forehead and doctor used glue instead of stitches, I am just wondering if that if one is better than the other.
personally I feel dermabond (glue) is best used above and below the eyes.
depends on the location, I work in Emergency Medicine and know the docs prefer it around the eyes and mouth, most other places on the head, sutures (stitches) are preferred, again it depends on the type of wound the approximation (how well the two sides of the lac will fit together again)
