plexiglass - how to remove imperfections?
I recently made a large plexiglass box using saws and weldon #3. This box has many imperfections at the edges from the saw, as well parts that the glue has gotten onto that look scuffed now. How can I clear these area's up?
Can I use a heat gun or torch? Thanks.
If you use a heatgun or torch it's going to get really hard to work with. Have you got a belt sander or a palm sander you can straigten up the edges and knock the glue off. We sell plexiglass at work and I do know what you mean about edges that can get jagged if not scored well...we cut it on our glass machine but that's there so, I think I would try a sander and leave the hot stuff alone. Good luck.
