Elmer's Vs. Weldwood glue?

I'm making a spaghetti bridge and im suppost to use Elmers products only to hold it toghether i want to use contact cement they have it in elmers brand but i couldn't find it today so i bought weldwood contact cement insted do you think my teacher will be able to notice a difference? What is the diferenct between the two?

Weldwood cement retains its color when dry (yellow).
Elmer glue turns dull white when dry.

Weldwood contact cement is polychloroprene based, it contains Toluene, Petroleum Naphtha and Methyl Ethyl it is very toxic substance. It has a very strong smell, read the warning label carefully before use.

Elmer's products in much safer to use, this is the reason your teacher want you to use Elmer glue/cement.
