7. Apply gum to the adjacent edge. Glue sticks are a better choice as they are a neat option and gives a clean look overall.

8. Stick the handle of the basket at the top end, overriding the edges. Let the whole basket dry up. 24 hours is the minimum time you should allow for drying.

9. Thereafter you are free to fill the basket with all the goodies you would like to use. Use it carefully and not place anything heavy in it or else the basket may tear.

What makes dryer lint stick to the clothes like a industrial-strength glue?

I hate it!!!!!!!!! I have a brand new shirt that has a ton of lint on it. I dry it with Bounce cloths, and the lint is still there! and i HATE having to use a brush on it. It's so time-consuming and tedious! There MUST be a better way to remove lint from clothes. How come the lint doesn't come off when it's in water? How come it's caked on, and you have to physically remove it? I recently bought one of those fabric shavers, and the damn thing makes holes in my shirts. Somehow the edges of the blade get in contact with my shirts and nicks them.

I've been plagued with lint problems for a while now. I am wondering why i never had lint problems 10 years ago. It's really ridiculous!

1) I know this is a no-brainer, but make certain the lint basket is 100% clear.

2) Make certain that all debris is cleared out of the washer barrel before you place your items in the dryer. I realize this is redundant, but the tiniest details can make all the difference.

3) Not all fabrics require equal washings. Certain cottons WILL be a magnet for lint. If this item of clothing is worth the expense to do so, take the shirt to the cleaners. Sometimes dry cleaning is the only route to a well cleansed shirt.

4) Again, redundant, but check ALL labels before clothing purchase to properly assess your expense/time/energy limitations and re-check before you plan to clean your articles of clothing.

***I understand your frustration. There are some black cottons I will not purchase for this specific reason.
